- يبدأ بتقسيم الخرز المطلوب قسمته على عدد الأشخاص الموجودين داخل الخانات بشكل افقي بالتساوي حتى ينتهي من وضعهم
- يكون الناتج هو رقم الصف الذي انتهى عنده وضع الخرز
- وإذا تبقى عدد من الخرز غير كافي لإتمام الصف (أقل من المقسوم عليه(عدد الأفراد الخشب) فيحتسب كباقي للقسمة
